THERMOSTAT FUNCTIONS
Individual programming of events
The factory-set periods and temperatures can be changed according to individual needs:
- 4 events at 5 days/2events day 6 & 7
- 4 events at 6 days/2 events day 7
- 4 events at 7 days
XSTAT is with built-in 4-events program for automatic comfort and setback temperature.
Comfort mode:
The temperature can be temporarily changed at the touch of a button, without changing the normal programme – an extra convenience on an extra chilly day.
Manual mode:
The scheduled program can be easily cancelled during holidays. The thermostat will stay at the desired temperature until the manual mode is cancelled.
The XSTAT software calculates when the heating has to be switched on to make sure that the floor is warm at the scheduled hour. It’s even possible to choose the type of heater and the floor covering to achieve better and safer comfort heating.
Adjustable offset:
With underfloor heating, floor temperature must be higher than the desired ambient room temperature. Offset is used to compensate for any difference between the thermostat and room thermometer. It is possible to adjust the offset by +/-5°C.
Child lock:
The convenient child lock prevents accidental changes to the thermostat settings. The display will be marked with a padlock symbol.
Proportional Adaptive Regulation
The XSTAT analyses the past performances of each cycle and, based on results, optimises the commands sent to the heating system. This regulation minimises temperature variations and maximises comfort.
Conventional Regulation with Anticipation
Simple regulation which sends On/Off commands to the heating system according to a pre-selected temperature variation. The thermostat control algorithm includes an anticipation function which reduces the discrepancy between the thermostat reading and the temperature at the centre of the room.

INSTALLATION
Mounting of floor sensor:
The floor sensor is used for temperature regulation in floor surfaces.
The floor sensor must be placed under the floor surface and between two heating cables. The sensor wire must not cross or touch any of the heating wires.
Mounting of the thermostat
The single gang mounting box must have a depth of no less than 25 mm 1. Use a screwdriver in both sides to open the lock. The cover must be dismounted. Please note: As with all electrical projects, all elecrical work should be carried out by a certified/qualified electrician in acordance with current regulations. All work must conform to the current IEE Wiring Regulations.
2. Connect cables.
