Technical Specifications

The Inscreed Cable comprises a pair of resistant cupronickel elements covered by a fluoropolymer, the fluoropolymer is ECTFE which provides excellent mechanical and insulation properties. The heating conductors are covered by a grounding shield and finally this is encapsulated in an outer Polyolefin sheathing. The two elements are joined at one end of the cable to provide a return loop, this in turn is covered by two layers of insulation. The return loop negates any EMF output as the opposing current directions cancel any EMF emission. The cold tail is a three core flexible lead (using European harmonized Colours), which is connected to the heater using crimps and two layers of insulation.

The twin conductor cable measures 6.0 mm outer diameter, has a terminator at one end and a 2.5m cold tail at the other. It is IPx7 and suitable for use in concrete and screeds.
